Basic silverpuppy has a heat-stirrer -- it's a lightbulb stand, and you put a glass finnel (inverted) into the water bottle -- that comes with the system. Seems to work well, and is also very attractive because the light shines on the water and any generated "sparklies." For a bit more money ($15, I think) you can get a magnetic stirring system with the #2 basic system. Judy Down Maine
