I wouldn't be surprised that it did work.
I know , Marshall, that you're familiar with the Beck 4 point protocol
that includes pulsed magnetic fields.
I've experimented with a home made pulser and gotten relief from
muscle strains, etc.
I'm know Sota sold a magnetic pulser, and people were satisfied.
This appears to be another refinement.
