[This was a special alert from Health Sciences Institute – Baltimore]

Dear Reader,

If you or anyone you know is planning to have surgery, you MUST READ this
urgent message…

Trasylol, a commonly used drug to control bleeding during surgery, has been
shown to contribute to widespread death. In fact, Trasylol, made by Bayer
Healthcare Pharmaceuticals, has been associated with as many as 1,000 DEATHS A
MONTH since it was introduced 14 years ago.

Apparently the FDA has known about the danger associated with Trasylol for
two years — yes, that’s two years at 1,000 deaths a month — but only now is
doing something about it. And, despite the research showing it kills people,
they are still allowing some “limited” use of Trasylol. (Don’t you wish you
were surprised?)

The worst part is that the patient is never consulted about using it. It's
not like a prescription that you can choose to fill or not. It's the doctor
who chooses which drugs to use during surgery. So if you or a loved one is
undergoing surgery, tell your doctor you don't want them using Trasylol and
ask
what the other options are. Your life may depend on it.

To Your Good Health,

Jenny Thompson

P.S. If you know anyone who may be planning surgery, please be sure they get
this urgent warning.
