I went to a coin shop and bought a .9999 fine silver medallion, 1 ounce. It cost around $5, the going price of pure silver. The medallion was like a rectangular coin, an inch wide and an inch and a half long, about as thick as a quarter. I cut it in half lengthwise and used these two pieces of silver for my electrodes. This arrangement gave quite a large surface area when compared to using silver wires. I'm wondering how much effect electrode surface area has in relation to the resulting ppm of the CS, all other variables being held the same? These large medallions also seem to get you the most silver for the buck, compared to the silver wires a lot of people get at jewelry stores and other outlets that mark them up a lot.
