Your immune system starts out working fine but there are microbes that it can't get rid of by itself. When it can't get rid of them it works to keep them under control. Along comes the cancer microbe and it now has two battles to fight. You can change things to build the immune system and hopefully get it back to where you started BUT you still have that microbe. It's not allways that simple either. If your sick check your temperature. If your temp. runs below 98.6 then your enzymes don't function right and the immune system isn't working right because the enzymes aren't working. By all tests you could have a perfict immune system and it still not doing it's job. Take a look at Wilsons Syndrome.
