1) Cancer tumors develop extra blood vessels in order to increase their
supply of sugar. They are energy-poor, so they are always calling for more
sugar to ferment. Thier waste, lactic acid, is recycled by the liver back to
sugar again, in a vicious circle that results in loss of appetite for the
patient, and a crashed immune system.

2) Dr. Warburg said that once the cell had gone into anerobic fermentation,
it could not switch back. However, there is a newly developed B vitamin, a
concentration of inositol, called IP6, that seems able to cause cancer cells
to revert to normal aerobic respiration. The mechanism isn't clear yet, but
the product has appeared on the market. Even better, it appears to help
prevent cancer.

Regarding acidity, it is the lack of oxygen to the cell (for whatever
reason) that first causes it to start the fermentation process, and the
first waste produced is carbon monoxide, which is acidifying. Then, if the
respiratory starvation continues, evetually the cell will be forced to
ferment its sugar in order to survive. The waste product of fermentation is
lactic acid, more acidity. Then the immune system becomes involved, as the
T-cells and macrophages that come upon this acid area will respond with the
release of enzyme growth factors (EGF), as they would at any wound site.
With this impetus, the anerobic cancer cells are stimulated to make endless
copies.
