That is such a trajedy. My son became seriously ill after the dpt vac,
and they would not listen to me until I was screaming at them and
threatening to turn them all in. That got their attention, and the doc
finally returned my call. I think the nurses were trained to not allow
anyone to talk to the doctors directly. I am convinced he would have
died if I had followed their advice and ignored his symptoms, and
continued to give him the shots on their schedule.
I later read a book on the pertussis vaccine, and many many children
died of so-called SIDS just after getting the pertussis vaccine. Their
symptoms were identical to my son's symptoms. --kathryn
