A TDS meter is useful if not all that accurate with its low resolution readout.
 Check the calibration in the use range.
Even good ones are sometimes 2 digits off between factory calibrated identical meters, but can be adjusted to be specific use repeatable.
I adjust each one to agree with a COM-100 @ 10 uS

Since there are no dosing standards that make ANY sense and there's plenty of room to use intuition, *close* is good enough.
