The coal miner who trapped in the coal mine cave-in last year recovered
what seems like full function when it looked as if he would have brain
damage from oxygen deprivation. He was given hyperbaric oxygen
treatment, which is apparently what effected the recovery.

Hi Mary Ellen.
My husband used to go in them quite frequently. He was stationed
in Key West as a diving instructor. People would frequently get flown to
the site that were experiencing the benze (related to going down to fast
in diving) and he would go down with them in the hyperberic chamber. He
felt like it did him a lot of good even though he wasn't suffering from
anything himself. It floods the brain with oxygen. He witnessed many
miracles of half dead people making full recoveries.
