Please forgive such a tardy response, but I just ran on to your
post this evening. I am totally unaware of the responses you may have received
regarding this post. However, I am aware of a possible protocol that may be
worth
your investigation. The protocol is Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy. We were able to
obtain, sometimes, near-miraculous responses from among our population of
volunteer
epileptics, using portable Hyperbaric chambers charged with atmospheric air to
establish the gas pressure (3+ atmospheres) and breathing "near-pure oxygen"
(88%). Some of the most-challenged from among the Gran Mal subjects, enjoyed
relatively rapid (7 days) near-total recovery----and a majority enjoyed
seizure-free intervals varying from 3-to-6 months, to two cases of 18 months
between seizures. Additionally, the intensity and duration of the seizures,
when
they did occur, were greatly reduced.
Additionally, we found continued/regular HBO session support was not
required after the "recovery plateau" was reached. This being true in a
majority
of of all cases that were truly responsive to the HBO treatment.
This is just a suggestion relating to a protocol that might
be
of genuine help in your "experimentations" seeking a solution to your father's
dilema. You might be well-served to discuss this possibility with your
health-care
professional.
