That is exactly what I was thinking. Did some googling, and it took ALL
of human history to reach a world human population of 2.5 billion in
1950. In Jan, 2006, world population stood at 6.5 BILLION. An increase
of 4 BILLION in only 56 years. If current growth rates continue the
total world population will be 12 billion by 2054. Incompentence for
sure, if reducing human population by 90% is the goal.
