Mike and Jim,

Mike, points all valid -- well and thoughtfully made as usual. Yes a list
is needed that can take the rambunctious rollicking energy of lots of ideas
and imput.

I was on the oxytherapy list when the same thing happened that is
happening here. Too much off topic... but such great "too much"! The lines
were drawn, and the list divided. Then the second list took off and the
owner made a hard and fast rule about nothing off topic at all. This IMHO
changed the free-flying energy of the list, and I have learned a great deal
from you as I see the way you allow what you call "noise"... the banter it
takes to create community.

So...here I am on another list at the same juncture.

I am thinking of starting a list on pH, which I have gotten good response
to. That however does not meet the need, and I do not think I have what it
takes at this time to moderate such a list. The <[email protected]> list
has some good people and good idea exchanges, but the restriction on being
on topic (even though on topic covers much more than it does here) can be a
little dampening for me. Still, a good place to "play".

Jim, if you did start a general alternative or wholistic health list...
WOW! If you do it on onelist the archives are built in. From what I
understand, it's the place to do it. You might do a search on onelist to
see what's there. I looked, and there are HUNDREDS of groups listed under
HEALING and WHOLISTIC HEALTH. Maybe a little digging will turn up a list we
can migrate to happily, and you won't have to reinvent the wheel.

With delight in the explosion of brillance necessitating these
considerations....
