Subject: Re: CS>High in Sodium, How much ?

Hi Wayne,

Table salt is adultered poison so avoid it like the plague and anything
containing it. Substitute with a pure salt which the body needs and thrives
on such as Himilayan sea salt form your local health food store. I take
several grams of it daily and my BP is 113/67 or so and my sodium and
potassium levels, according to bloodwork, are perfect. Salt is needed to
discourage parasites and pathogens as well as to create HCL for digestion.
Salt is a rich source of trace minerals when unrefined. The purer the source
the better. Roman soldiers were sometimes paid in salt which was recognized
for its incredible value in Biblical times. This value hasn't changed today.
.what has changed is the toxic, refined, heat-processed salt containing
additives which most of us are consuming bears little resemblence to health
promoting salt. This has brought about all the bad salt reports in the last
few decades and given "real salt" an unfair bad rap. I'm no chemist or
doctor but I do very well on a high Himilayan sea salt diet without any
kidney difficulties. I also consume as little adultered salt as I can,
having a litttle in canned sardines every week and that's about it. The odd
meal out here and there will have table salt in it but these are the
exception to the rule....works well for me!

So, get the real thing and enjoy!

Blessings,

Peter
