 They sometimes look exactly like a piece of ear.
If you find one, pull it off and the dog will be OK in a few hours.

But Ode, if you pull a tick off that is inside a dogs ear you might leave the tick's sticker imbedded in the skin where it can easily become infected.

I always put a little rubbing alcohol on a small cotton ball and place it directly over the tick. This smothers the tick and the tick lets go immediately leaving no sticker behind. Just a thought. Faith G.
