Funny, I was reading someplace recently that candida albicans prefer an 
alkaline environment...  I don't remember if it said that an alkaline 
environment is anaerobic (although I think that is what it said) but I know 
that candida must live in an anaerobic, and dies in an acidic environment.  
So how to make these two pieces of info jive?
