Place a small cup in the center of the water. It should (obviously) be taller than the level of water in the pan, but should not extend taller than the rim of the pan. Place plastic wrap over the whole thing, sealed tight to the edges but not stretched super tight over the top. Now place a pebble or other small weight in the center of the plastic wrap, making a depression, over the cup.
Put the whole thing in the sun. As the water turns to steam inside the pan by the action of the sun, it is being distilled. However, it has nowhere to go because of the plastic wrap. It will collect on the underside, run down the slope, and drip into the cup. This is not the fastest way to distill water, but it can be useful in a no-power situation.
