Six months ago my 17 year old cocker mix's blood panel revealed  elevated 
kidney values, her function is now approx. 30%.  Have  used the protocol from 
the 
link pasted below, plus all-organic home prepared  diet and she is thriving; 
able to jump up and down from furniture and bed, loves  her meals and 
snuggling.  Not a cure in her case, but improved quality for  her and extra 
time for 
us with this precious creature.
 
I don't believe that CS has anything to do with dogs' kidney  disease.  If 
your Grey  ever had a tick-borne disease  that can contribute to kidney 
problems.

and  called to say they need to reschedule the dental because the kidney
