I don't know exactly what you mean by deep cleaning, but my husband
turned up with very deep pockets and was supposed to go in every 3
months for cleaning, and was told he might need "root planing". I got
him started with a Viajet, using CS/water in it daily. His pockets were
so much improved that at his first 3 month cleaning he was told to go
back to a 6 month interval. No root planing needed.
The benefits he and I have had from using CS with or without additives
as a dental rinse have been amazing. I'd continue making and using CS if
I had no other benefit from it at all. Which, of course, isn't the case,
LOL.
