I have two thoughts on this subject -- I have been giving my 3 dogs CS mixed 
with canned dog food and I have seen positive results using this method.  I do 
this because I haven't yet figured out how to put CS into a Rottweiler's mouth 
and tell the dog to hold it there for a while.  
        The fact that CS is ineffective comes out of research we paid for that 
was done by UT.  There is no reason that mixing CS with dog food will not work, 
and will not work well.  The CS still gets absorbed through the stomach lining 
into the blood, where it is liquid and there it is very effective.  It is only 
ineffective WHILE it is bound in a solid.  The CS has a charge on it that 
attracts pathogens.  If the CS and the pathogens are in a solid medium where 
they cannot move until they touch, then the CS cannot act on the pathogen.  It 
is a matter of physics.
