My most sincere apologies to all list mmembers
for my tardiness in making this post----have been so occupied and never
seem to have been near the computer with the information available at
the same time.
The protocol I will relate is somewhat modified from our
actual process, but will be quite adequate for home extraction---and
use.
1. Place 2 cups of powdered/granulated kelp in a 1
quart jar.
2. Add 1 teaspoon of MSM granules/powder to 1 quart of
pre-heated (180-190 degrees F) distilled water.
3. Add 2 teaspons of Collodial Silver (5-10 ppm) to the
distilled water solution, stir well and pour water mixture into the jar
containing the kelp granules to a point approximately 1/2 inch below top
edge of jar.
4. Place a lid/cap over top of jar and place in some
form of insulated sleeve or container (6 or 7 thicknesses of newsprint
should be enough), and allow to sit undisturbed for 24-36 hours.
5. Strain off liquid and keep in a refrigerated
environment ( a precaution, even though CS is present in prophylactic
quantities).
6. Consume 1 tablespoon daily for minimum mineral
supplementation.
A majority of the parent minerals, plus useful
alginate-based compounds, will be present in the solution yielded by
this simple extraction process. NO enzymes will have survived the 180
degree heat. If enzyme survival is desired, then the original
temperature CANNOT exceed 110 degrees F----and the CS supplement must be
increased to 6 teaspoons.
Note: Even pasteurized solutions of kelp extract
are excellent bacteria media; if one chooses not to employ CS, then
SOME FORM of non-toxic bacteriostatic
is required to control the possibility of brewing a substance yielding
counterproductive biological consequences.
One final note: This solution will taste mildly
bitter, due to the MSM fraction. This can be mitigated by adding any
form of sweetner or non-toxic fruit flavoring agent.
