Faith, I'm disappointed that you weren't sensitive enough to realize that those kinds of remarks would be *really* upsetting to other people on the list, however happy you happen to be today! This is the *EXACT* reason that political discussions are among the prohibited topics in the list rules! And every other one of you who also violated the list rules by responding to the first foolish outburst, what exactly were you thinking? I'm sorry I wasn't on top of this to stop it sooner, but my attention was on other things for a bit... <sigh> In an unprecedented step, I'm going to put the list on moderation for a few hours to give all of you a chance to catch up, realize your mistakes, and get this nonsense out of your systems.
