Anyone know from whence one can buy finely powdered silver? I do

How much do you need? You can actually make it using electrolysis at
higher currents than we use, it will plate out on the cathode. What
plates out on the anode will be silver oxide, and when heated will also
convert to silver powder. You might also try using electrolysis in a
solution of citric acid and water to make silver citrate. Then add
sodium hydroxide to the silver citrate solution. If my calculations are
correct that should give you sodium citrate which will stay dissolved,
with a precipitate of silver powder.
