Hi there Wayne [What bogus Questions !] -I haven't got a problem with it, I'm just replying to Jim so it's probably better you take it up with him. I don't give a hoot what, when, why or how much of anything is in the body. [You are asking a lot of unrelated and irrelevant questions about HCL.] -Remember I'm not asking any questions here, they were just example points to which answers *may* be needed by a particular person who *may* wish to know, I don't wish to know about it. Jim just raised the point and these were just example answers to that point that's all. There have been articles written concerning HCL in the body and it's possible/probable/plausible interaction with CS so this may have been what he was referring to, similar articles, I don't know, I don't give a hoot about HCL in the body. [You need to learn something about it, before you ask one single question.] -You're absolutely right, I should "learn about it", and if I had a mind to I would, but I haven't a mind to, so I won't, I don't have a need to know anything about it. I have read some, supporting and negating it, but I'm satisfied with what I have read and as a consequence have not the slightest concern for HCL in the body. I'll leave your duodenum quote for Jim to read as he may find it of interest. Oh, you're also right about the scientists and chemists and the 'worrying' thing too Wayne, I stopped that a little while ago, I've satisfied myself on several matters after research, and over time. Most who have a far better understanding of the human body and the chemistry of CS within it or on it can pursue it further, I won't because I don't have a need to know about such things at this point in time. I make my determinations from what information is available and by whatever other means I can without necessarily getting too close to the chemistry of it, I wouldn't understand it anyway. I believe I know just enough to keep me out of trouble with regards to EICS, except when I come on here that is, which is why I now sit right up in the back row <g>. Cheers...Neville. (the Duodenum ) which would have virtually no acid there. Most people over 40 do not make enough HCL anyway. In the group, that are sick enough to go to a doctor, for any reason, 90 % of them do not make enough.
