I joined this list because I thought folks like you really do have applications for CS right now in your lives, and I would really love to hear what CS has helped you with. I am personally - regularly - exposed to Giardia, bacteria, and resulting Candida as an outdoor skills guide and want to find non-toxic, (cheap & non-tox) cures that I can at lease use periodically. So I am asking for your help, if willing to advise me. I will then be able to try it, and convey successes along the chain to colleages, students, etc., as well as report my findings back to you all.
