------------------------
I am telling all my friends about my experience. You are most
welcome to do
so as well.
Yes, I have type-1 diabetes and use insulin. I was bitten by a spider in
October 2006; they cut my toe off in April 2008 but the cut didnt
heal, so
they did a bypass to improve the blood supply to my leg, but it didnt
heal
and the wound split open from the knee down, then the surface died and
became infected.
The surgeon said they had to amputate again in Nov 2008, above the
knee but
I began my regimen and the surface of the wound turned pink, then red
(blood
supply), granulation resumed, the skin gradually closed and it got
better.

I use a syringe to drop insulin onto the surface and I spread it with my
dried metho-sterilized finger. I wait a few minutes then I bung the
colloidal silver in the wound.

Incidentally, my GP is happy to prescribe the treatment on diabetic
wounds,
and I have shown the nursing staff the whole procedure.

Also bear in mind that it might only work on diabetic wounds. Many
type-2
diabetics who do not use insulin might know someone who uses insulin.

Incidentally, the insulin trick is on the net (Michigan uni), so you
might
pass the link around without the TGA messing-up health care yet again.

Google "topical insulin" wound michigan

A friend from work had a non-healing diabetic ulcer (type-2
diabetes) for a
year. I told her to try the insulin and a month later, as I was about to
visit her to give her some of my colloidal silver, she rang to tell
me the
ulcer was healed. (inection is what leads to amputation in diabetic
ulcers;
she was lucky to avoid infection for a year, but the CS would have
made it
safer)
