What about adding CS to the drawn blood?  A pharmacist should be able to 
calculate the maximum blood level from taking the CS PO and duplicating the 
concentration directly in the drawn blood.

    If the blood is refrigerated, shouldn't that stop the Lyme bugs from
being active?  She may not need irradiated blood at all.
