Hi Dee,

I would not be as complacent as you. Worm eggs are tiny and can ride on 
many things on their way into ones mouth; a pets muzzle, beak, tongue or 
fur; the wind, especially in dry weather. It is a good idea to wash hands and 
to train kids not to put their hands in their mouths, but that is not totally 
effective against contamination.
