I do that on a regular basis...it increases the initial conductivity of
the water when you need it the most, without contaminating it.
In smaller batches, as the water cools, there is induced a thermal
convection current that lasts long enough to provide some stirring..mostly
when you need it the least, but enough left to be effective, for when you
need it the most.
I have not found that "Nuking" EIS affects it in any way....might not want
to boil it.
120 degrees F seems to be a sort of agglomeration threshold, for me...some
others disagree.

Also wanted to let you know my friend has been able to stop
shingles. She had a bad bout and went to the Dr. the med. he gave her
took about 4 weeks to take care of them. They came back with a
vengeance. I told her about EIS and she tried it---Drank 1-2 oz's. in the
morning---1 swig at night &-put it on topically once each day . Within 3
days they were gone and have not returned... { After that she asked me to
get her a generator}
