I've dealt with abcesses twice. The first time, I had several bouts of antibiotics, as I couldn't afford to get my teeth fixed, and they just kept abcessing. Then I found out that antibiotics cause worse tooth decay, so the last time, I treated it completely with Colloidal Silver, store bought. The abcess I had was a doozy. My whole face was swollen and you could see the infection channel both inside my mouth, along my jaw and on the outside too. After a couple $40 4 oz jars, I started making my own. I was able to keep the abcesses away after that for a couple years till I could afford dental work. Since I started that, I've never lost another tooth.
A couple weeks ago (Mar 26), I again had an abcess. I have gotten to the point after all these years that I never get sick any more, and sometimes get lazy about making Colloidal Silver. I hadn't made any in a couple months, and it's again been a few years since I had dental work, so I need it. I had a chunk come off a tooth, and a few days later the abcess started (which it wouldn't have if I had made some). I made some at day 3 of the start of the abcess (Mar 28) and drank lots (which I usually do) and 5 days later it was gone (April 1 a bit of pain in the morning, gone by noon, never to return). (I felt icky for a couple days but I suspect it could have partly been a herx effect because I was drinking about a quart a day of clear homemade CS and it probably wiped out every other bug I might have had.) When I was in pain, I had booked an emergency dental appointment (for April 2), and by the time I went in, the pain was gone, and the dentist saw zero evidence of any infection, even when pushing on gums, jaw and tooth. He said I'd last just fine until my regularly scheduled appointment, which happened to be today (April 7). No evidence of infection at all, and it just needs a filling. I don't know about whether the CS needs to get into the blood or deep tooth tissue, but I do know that when I have an abcess I have a blatantly open hole to my root, as I suspect most people would. Using CS works good for the pain too. The last couple of days of pain (Mar 30 and 31) I was fine during the day, because I can just keep CS in my mouth. It would only get bad at night when I couldn't keep it in my mouth. I swear by this stuff, and will use if forever. If you can't afford a dentist, this is a godsend. Luckily I now have a job that includes dental coverage, but this sure would have been good to know about before I lost half my teeth and thought antibiotics were good. My dental hygiene is no better now other than the CS and I haven't lost a single tooth since starting to use CS about 5 or 6 years ago. As for the smell, if you have an abcess or painful teeth I can GUARANTEE that you have bad breath and bad body odour. The whole world could tell you that, but won't. So don't worry about, no one will tell you that the smell changed other than your VERY close friends/relatives, who get used to their loved ones smells and just don't like change. Suffering a few days with bad breath is a 100 times better than an abcess. Abcesses make your whole body sick. Will CS help with the infection? If anyone has used CS to help with a tooth issue, I would love to hear stories. I do NOT want to get a root canal.
