I would compress the wart 24/7 with 20-30% DMSO diluted
with CS. I have done this for moles and skin tags with great
success and they are also thought to be caused by HPV.

I have used gauze with plastic wrap taped over the gauze
keeping the gauze constantly moist with the solution, or just
plain bandaids.

In fact some of the skin tags I just wiped it on once a day
after a shower, not even every day. They were gone in
a few weeks. I did not even notice when they left.

For a deep growth like a plantar wart though it might take
longer as the new skin forms underneath and pushes out
the old wart growth. It could look like nothing is happening
until it finally falls out.

Has anyone had success getting rid of plantar warts?

A friend has had them for about a year and has tried salicylic acid
treatments without success. My understanding is that these warts are a
manifestation of HPV and may be receptive to a CS/DMSO mixture. If so, any
suggestions on a protocol?

Thanks,

Don
