full strength white vinegar spritzed where he's marked territory will very
quickly kill that strong rank tom cat odor and the vinegar smell totally
goes away within a few minutes. I know from first hand experience of using
this successfully with tom cat stink problems.
Even inside a closed room, if you pour out some white vinegar in a shallow
bowl and leave on a table or counter top, it will absorb all strong odors
and again the vinegar smell disappears.

Subject: CS>Re: killing organic odors with EIS
A stray tom cat has decided he wants to live in our yard and on the deck.
He has sprayed just about every square inch of the perimeter of the outside
of our home and garage. We're mixing 10PPM EIS with a few drops of dish
soap and using this combo to wet everything down. It has greatly reduced
the odor. I suspect in the few spots where we can smell, that it dried too
quickly.
Any thoughts on how I can improve this solution and how long it would be
effective once the soap is added (shelf life)?
I work for a kitchen and bath remodeling company. Our crews have to deal
with some nasty smelling spots in homes from time to time. It would be
great to keep a gallon of this on the trucks that they could use.
Thanks for anything you can share, Lin
