The link I posted yesterday discusses the differences in remedies for a "normal" flu vs the remedies for a 1918 like flu. The bird flu in China seemed to preferentially take out the young healthy adults, according to some. The discussion is of interest now because of the new flu. I have reported this before, but not in any detail: when I had the flu this last Feb, I took my eis for it, and it did not seem to be helping enough, so I poured myself a rather large glass (8-10oz?) and drank it all at once. In a few minutes, I was in bed. It made it worse, much worse. In contrast to when I took smaller amounts, it did not seem to help, but also didn't seem to hurt. This open the question again of whether eis stimulates the immune system.

In my mind, it seems like either the large amount of eis either killed off a large number of toxic pathogens, overwhelming my body's ability to filter them out (which has been known to flatten me), or it stimulated my immune system, causing the flu bug to perhaps initiate a cytokine storm, and flatten me.

Dr Shoemaker has worked for a long time with helping people with toxin related illnesses, and he discusses at some length the cytokine storm effect as it relates to healing or lack of, in those with biotoxin-mediated illnesses. He uses a cholesterol drug to sop up the toxins from the GI tract, others use activated charcoal, or clays, for a similar effect.

Would that help with the Flu? It would certainly help contain diarhea, and might have the added benefit of reducing the aches and pains related to the toxins, if there were any.

I got this link from a medical blog site:

http://www.bird-flu-influenza.com/relenza-tamiflu-alternatives-folk- medicines-antivirals.htm

Anybody have any thoughts on this? I suppose we all have the options of trying whatever we have in our arsenals. I am considering updating mine along the lines of does it increase or decrease cytokines.

Scientists have shown that the moon is moving away at a tiny yet
measurable distance from the earth every year. If you do the math,
you can calculate that 85 million years ago the moon was orbiting the
earth at a distance of about 35 feet from the earth's surface! This
would explain the death of the dinosaurs...
 the tallest ones, anyway.
