Craig-

THANKS VERY MUCH for that!

Ok, you've triggered something now so here's the onslaught...

Although we are very active iodine takers, taking both Magnascent and
Lugol's, having definitely found that there is a need and use internally for
both energized/ionic/monoatomic iodine (singular atom iodine that does not
often occur naturally) AND potassium iodide (2/3 of the content of any
Lugol's solution of any strength), I had not heard yet about that particular
protocol and I can assure you we will give it a go. We have plenty of
Lugol's on hand, having been able to purchase some 5% and 7% before the laws
were changed. I also know where to get crystalline K Iodide and that is
totally legal.

Questions:

In the taking of Lugol's, do you think that it is the I2 doing the work, or
the KI, or both?
(I know that KI is needed for the normalization of breast, heart and
prostate, at the very least.)

Also, what are the other supps suggested?

BTW, I am on that iodine list but have missed this somehow. Stephanie is
doing a dynamite job over there. She must be able to type 1000wpm.

More to come in Iodine part 2...

A very strange side effect of taking a high dosage of Lugol's Iodine (much
easier to do with Iodoral tablets) @ 25mg-75mg/day is that these fibrous
tumors disappear, disolve...often within two weeks.

On the iodine list I belong to, this is reported again and again by
women...and it also has happened with my wife who is 56, after ten days at
25mg.

The treatment is simple, although not without side effects from the detox.
The detox is the result of the iodine displacing the other halogens from the
body: fluorine, bromine and chlorine. There are additional supplements
required.

There is a huge body of research on taking high dosage iodine, that has been
done with little or no downside...except for the detoxing side effects. I
have been taking 50mg for eight months...my age spots have disappeared, skin
has become softer and my gray hair is turning back to a light blonde...and
my hypothryoidism is under control with just the iodine (I am 62).

The list is [email protected]: The focus of this list is hypothyroidism
and thyroid cancer, but they discuss all iodine related issues...it is very
active...and the list owner is quick to stop any off-topic discussion due to
the volume.
