Hi MaryAnn, This is just a WAG, but could it have been a clot? Aspirin is supposed to be a good blood thinner, but I'd go see the Doc before I messed w/ Anything concerning blood-clots. Habits are hard to break, but you might want to shift to a pillow for your head rest, avoid additional pressure on your arm??
