A couple of comments on the eBay bentonite. When I ordered it I was unsure just
what I would get. There weren't many previous buyers and the price is awfully
low. But I have purchased calcium bentonite from a number of suppliers and the
bentonite I received was as good as any other I had gotten. I see that the
seller has now had over 50 sales. To sell that much he has to have a direct
source to a mine and not just rebagging a couple of 50 lb bags he found
somewhere. He ships in the medium size USPS flat rate priority box lined with a
plastic bag and filled to full. Even so, shippihg is nearly half his sell price!

I get my zeolite from
 http://gandgnaturalproducts.com/default.aspx
It is also a quality product at a low cost. I have talked to the owner and it
is from his mine.

Low cost humic acid is a little different situation. Humic acid is extracted
from leonardnite using dilute sodium hydroxide.
Leonardnite is a humic shale that is somewhere between peat and coal in its
transformation. Acid is added to the sodium hydroxide extract and as the
solution turns acidic, humic acid precipates out the solution. The remaining
yellow solution is called fulvic acid. Most all the humic and fulvic acids are
made in China. I never found a low cost humic acid for human consumption. I did
find one humic acid powder on eBay sold as a fertilizer that I was able to
trace to the Chinese manufacturer. Since you use a diluted solution of humic
acid I purchased some of the powder. I dissolve the powder with calcium
bentonite and zeolite added to adsord any heavy metals or toxins that may be
present in the humic acid. This may not be a satisfactory process for everyone
but I am satisfied with it.
I tried determining the sources of the humic acid sold for human use but was
not successful. I was able to determine that the chinese humic acid I purchased
was also used in animal feed. For all I could determine it could be the same
source for the expensive humic acids sold for human consumption. I think the
supplier I purchased it from is:

I use the eBay one regularly internally. It looks to be a quality product. You
can send a question to the seller if you want to know more about the product.
It also gets good ratings from other buyers. While I didn't ask a question
since I knew I could use it externally if it appeared less than quality. I did
do a search on calcium bentonite mines and there aren't that many and all
looked ok.
I haven't tried the sodium bentonite although it works the same as the calcium.
I have used a swelling version of calcium bentonite and I much prefer the non
swelling bentonite for internal use. If you get some it will use up faster than
the sodium since it does not increase it's volume when you add water.
I am considering buying a second order to have it in case the supply is
limited.

I know the Pascalite is well regarded, but at a pretty high price.

The second item seems to be a great price! Free shipping too.
Do you use the e-bay one internally. Do you know anything more about it?

I got a couple of bags of sodium bentonite for a good price, but I
don't like to take it internally.
Supposed to be good for detox baths, but I'm afraid to use it and
chance clogging up my plumbing...

Thanks,

Dan
