Silver citrate is a solution of silver citrate compound and water. It is
an ionic compound, which has been used for making photographic plates in
the past. It can cause argyria. Colloidal silver is very small
particles of pure silver suspended in pure water. It does not cause
argyria. To make silver citrate you can add some citric acid to the
water you make colloidal silver with and it will produce silver citrate
instead of colloidal silver. Conductivity will be enhanced so much your
unit may shut down unless you put it in manual mode.
