I totally agree with what Marshall is saying here.

I suspect what happened is that the Bob's Red Mill people realized
that people were confusing "Baking Soda" (which doesn't have aluminum)
with "Baking Powder" (which usually has an aluminum compound in it).

Because people were concerned with aluminum but could not become well
enough informed about the issue, they took the easy way out and marked
their Baking Soda as having "no aluminum."  This gets rid of the
confusion for their product, but it makes it look like there is
aluminum in everyone else's Baking soda.

There is no alumimum in Baking Soda, especially not in Arm-and-Hammer
Baking Soda.  To say otherwise is perpetuating an urban myth which is
basically a lie.
