Call it a bureaucratic morass of legal definitions and
jurisdictions..the alphabet soup of agencies spelling out nonsense between
them and an opportunist using the confusion to sell a fear.
The "concern" is gallons and gallons of ionic silver being dumped into the
environment [EPA], not being deliberately consumed by individuals by the
teaspoon [FDA] which had officially turned it's blind eye back in the 90s
in their "Final Word" document, written to imply negativity to cover their
asses without actually stating any negativity, due to lack of knowledge and
no evidence of harm over decades of a common practice.
ie:
"We don't know, we don't want to know and if you ask we'll say no...so
don't ask." [FDA]
"What you drink can't be a pesticide and that's the FDAs business, not
ours...but you aren't drinking laundry water by the gallon and it does do
what you think it does when you drink it, so what happens when you dump
it..we don't know, aren't being funded to find out, so it's all on the
makers of EIS *mass dumping machines* to prove no harm to the *environment*
which IS our business " [EPA]

The anti-silver environmentalists are at it again.
Now, the so-called "Friends of the Earth" have called for a total ban on
the sale of /all over-the-counter colloidal silver products/. (I have to
ask, is it any wonder the acronym for their name is "FOE"?)
This, in spite of the fact that earlier this year this same group pledged
/not/ to attempt a ban on colloidal silver. They even wrote to assure many
of their members who were furious about the environmentalist plot to force
the EPA to regulate silver as a "pesticide" that they had no intention of
coming after colloidal silver.
Apparently, their word is /not/ their bond.
