Hi Ya'all; Its a quite, drizzlely, lazy afternoon in Kansas City so I thought it was time to stir the pot again!!!!!
I made a four hour run using my polarity reversal with a brand of DW availble in KC,Mo. called Absopure. I have made several runs with it and know its characterisctic. After 4 hours it normally measures 15-18 ppm, but due to circumstances I left the electrodes in the cell with all power off and went to bed. The next morning I measured the brew to see if things were normal and to my surprise the PPM measured 28!!!!!! So the next evening I made a four hour run using Wal-Mart DW which I find a much better grade than Absopure and I check the ppm after four hours at 11 ppm. I then left the electrodes in the CS with all power off and went to bed. The next morning the ppm checked 18!!! The difference in the DW is that Absopure measures 4 miroSeimens and Wal- Mart measures 2micro Seimens. Both samples were colorless and still are after a week of shelf life. I will be interested in the comments from the group. Will straight DC CS do the same??? I guess I need to find out.
