Well folks, my jury came in as to which pole does what in magnets used for healing. I own 2 3x6 flat sided ceramic magnets. When I first got them I took a compass and marked them north and south according to the earth's north and south. I placed them under my mattress one under my head and one under my thighs. I forgot about them, but a couple of weeks later was wondering why I was waking at 1 am unable to fall back asleep. Then I remembered the magnets which I had placed north side up. I decided to reverse them and place them south side up. the results were immediate and lasting full and restful sleep, waking refreshed. this has gone on for a month now. I am convinced that when magnets are used for healing that it is the north seeking side that is beneficial, which when compared to the earth would be the south pole. A better way to mark your magnets would be to dangle them from a string and the side which faces north mark with the color blue and the side which faces south mark with the color red. Use the blue side for healing and the red side for treating your garden seeds. Tom
