Hi Taylor, The general consensus on the list has been that there are too many impurities in copper to make your own.
I found the WaterOZ (silver) seemed more consistant than what I was able to make. However, being totally electrically impaired, I only used the 4 battery method, not some of the more sophisticated devices that have been discussed on the list. Someday when I get over the intense brain fog, I will build a better machine, and then I would think, yes, no need to buy a product rather than make my own.
