Hi Guys,
Why are you trying to make silver citrate? Oh, just reread where you
dont want to mention it yet. Some perhaps crazy idea. My perhaps
crazy ideas include making silver ascorbate. Vit c comes in various
mineral ascorbates, how about silver ascorbate? I have read that
potassium ascorbate is more likely to enter the cells than sodium
ascorbate. Along those lines I imagine that silver ascorbate might
present double trouble to bacteria.
any thoughts?
Everything sounds fine. I hope it works for you.

Hi Steve.
I told I would get back to you on this.
I started making this tonight. For 30 oz I added 2 tablespoons and
2 teaspoons citric acid to 30 oz of distilled water.
I figured 2 tablesppons = 1 oz, 1 oz = 30 grams of CA. Need 45
grams of CA for 32 oz to equal a 5% solution.
I set the current limit at 25 mA. According to my faradays calc at
http://www.silvermedicine.org/faradaycalculator.html
it would take 240 minutes to equal 425 ppm.
At 25 mA i show the voltage at 3.4.
I plan to dilute it 4 to 1 to equal about 100 ppm for my uses.
Does everything sound about right?
I really appreciate the info, it was about 8 months ago that we
discussed this.
I do have my own reasons for making this and can not explain at
this time. I would not recommend making this unless for specific
reasons.
If it works I will explain later and I will not know for awhile if
this is effective but am really hoping so.
