For myself, when endless itch comes to my skin when i venture out in gardens, i applyl cs wait for it to dry then apply virgin coconut oil with lavander essential oil in it (just a few drops). Stops itch immediately and wound heals fast too. You might want to try it on your horse. VCO has worked for cats and dogs itch too. Melly
