I did both. CS + DMSO, soaked gauze and band-aids and put them on my MRSA 
abcesses. I also used microelectricity. Got rid of all of it! I agree with 
Ode...dry CS doesn't do anything...you have to wet it, or forget it!

Dry CS doesn't do diddly.
  But something absorbent over the sores and keep them *soaked* with CS...and 
DMSO if you want.

A Godzilla probably would help and if you use a silver electrode on the [+] 
pole, it will make silver ions IN the wound. [Iontophorosis ]
