Agreed about the DMSO. It would be a more efficient and effective way of doing what I did for frozen shoulder some 15 or 17 years ago now. I saw a specialist and he made an appt for me to have an injection. That I did NOT want. I read up all I could - no internet then - about various herbs, and mixed up some ointment with various essential oils. Aromatherapy, I suppose. If in doubt, put a few drops in. Probably in comfrey ointment. Maybe emu oil, too.

I put it on faithfully morning and night, and it improved. Sorry, I forget what the ingredients were, but they must have been fairly easy to look up.

I cancelled the appointment and went back when another appointment was due. The specialist put me through the tests and gave me a percentage of the improvement. He asked what I had been doing, and I told him. I told him the ingredients, and he said that as there was more than one, we wouldn't know what had done the trick.

I doubt whether he tried it on any of his other patients, anyway. But I didn't need that injection any more.

Well, the very first thing I'd use is DMSO.
