I believe Brooks Bradley has done quite a bit of research and case
documentation.

American Biotech [A division of Clifton Mining...silver mining ] has
sponsored many trials concerning AIDS and Malaria in Africa, but are a bit
suspect on credibility [my opinion] when they resort to such warped
misleading legalsleezic ad copy to promote a [good] product that's not
likely much, if any different, than what is made at home.
Looks like the patent was written by a team of double talk lawyers
too...misleading by omission of description of certain test procedures
which may show a result irrelevant to the original product, then calling
the original product that. [ How particle size is determined can change
ions into particles to back an untrue claim that the original substance is
metallic rather than ionic when the description of the process to make the
original substance strongly indicates that it was, in fact, mostly ionic
before it was tested.]
Interesting that they now use Hydrogen Peroxide in the patent filed in
2003...something that was originated on the silverlist in the year 2000 as
far as I know.
Oh Lookie!

The interaction of silver ions and hydrogen peroxide in the inactivation of
E. coli: a preliminary evaluation of a new long acting residual drinking
water disinfectant

ABSTRACT
The inactivation efficiencies of silver ions, hydrogen peroxide and their
combination was studied as part of a performance evaluation of the combined
disinfectant for drinking water applications. Both, silver and hydrogen
peroxide exhibited a significant inactivation performance even at
concentrations that do not pose any health risk according to the EEC, WHO
and the USEPA (the USEPA Maximum Contaminant Level (MCL) of silver is 90
ppb, and currently, there is no MCL for hydrogen peroxide but it is
approved as a food additive in the USA). Combinations of 1:1000
silver:hydrogen peroxide (w) exhibited higher inactivation performance as
compared with each of the disinfectants alone and in some cases a
synergistic effect was observed, i.e., the combined disinfectant exhibited
higher inactivation performance than the sum of the inactivation levels of
the separate disinfectants. Thus, for example, one hour exposure to 30 ppb
silver, 30 ppm hydrogen peroxide and their combination yielded 2.87, 0.65
and 5 logs of inactivation respectively.
..on THAT note, you could inform the person that NASA and the Merchant
Marines have been using silver ion generators on ships for decades to
treat drinking water, IDENTICAL to what we do.

Silver is also used in drinking water treatment by airlines and passenger
ships.
That, of course, means that astronauts and seamen...now tourists and
travelers... have been drinking "EIS" for a very long time, INSTEAD
of "water" [....and the only things "blue" about that is the sea and sky ]
Then there is Silverlon and Acticoat being used in burn centers...and
Curad Silver [band aids] that rely on silver ion generation to sterilize
and heal wounds...and...Agion [tm] technology generating silver ions via
ion exchange resins licensed to Rockwell, Honeywell and ReLion etc to
sterilize water filters and the water that they filter.
..then silver impregnated plastics and silver paint additives for
antibacterial surface protection, becoming more and more common since the
early 80s.
..even silver socks.
on and on.
I suppose it could be said that the "mainstream" can be quite ignorant of
its own self.

Dorothy -- that's very interesting. I hadn't heard of electrically
isolated silver.
Are there any studies you can send me on it?

Subject: colloidal silver
Your article is misinformed to say the least. I and many others make
a substance known as electrically isolated silver which we use on a
daily basis on ourselves and our animals. A dog which is off its food
and listless goes to being well in four hours when given this, and you
can't brainwash dogs.
Two pups get parvo; one is treated by the vet with anti-biotics and
dies, while the other is given silver both orally and as an enema and
lives. These are not isolated cases and occur on a daily basis. I
have cured abscesses, toothache, glandular fever, 'flu, sickness and
diarrhoea, and loads of other things just using electrically islolated
silver. Please stop publishing articles about a subject of which you
know nothing!
As far as argyria is concerned, The Blue Man was NOT making
electrically isolated silver, he was making silver salts, which was a
completely different substance. He was also offered a 'cure' by
members of my list, but declined, as he is doing quite nicely out of
being blue! He is also, (apart from the colour) very healthy!
