Hi Brooks. Of course, you are right about no oil sprays during bloom. I guess I was just thinking kelp spray. :-)

Samala, Renee -------Original Message------- The reason we do not spray after the blooms occur (until they fall) on our fruit trees is that the spray mixture we use just before bloom contains an emulsified oil, with a weak sulfur fraction...which is designed to control scale insects and brown rot (which is endemic in our area). To expose blooms to ANY form of oil----would be disastrous.
