No credible researcher disputes that. Even 'Quackwatch', the ultimate anti-cs site, does not dispute that it works in-vitro (test tubes). Unfortunately no clinical human trials have been conducted to prove that it works in real life. There are a number of reasons for this including the fact that human trials cost millions of dollars.
