Rusty, Nano refers to a certain size. Separate atoms or ions of silver are well in the nano range. Colloidal means a state of association or bunching of atoms or ions where these clusters are suspended in a fluid (water) If the clusters are large enough they will sink to the bottom of the container. If they are small enough they "float" and take a long time to settle. The popular wisdom is that small colloidal clusters are more effective.
I have not seen any credible studies showing that one kind of silver is superior to another. Most work has been done in colloidal systems. I buy my generators from Fred Paschel, and you can test the efficacy with a chemical and a conductivity tests. How can I guarantee the effectiveness of homemade silver colloid to my members? Also, how can I be sure of the quality of machines available since some of them seem pretty fly-by-night?
