Hello Marshall,
I appreciate your interest and willingness to help. Going to my sent messages was the first thing I did. Nothing there. I have never experienced anything quite like this. I am on a wireless ISP system, and sometimes, we experience spikes which cause a complete loss of the data train....but in very case I have received an immediate notification of the trouble. Additionally, such a failure requires a reboot. Possibly I could have done something unwittingly.......at my stage in life I, frequently, do not know if I am washing---or hanging out!

Depending on what email client you are using, normally you can go to the

"sent" mailbox and retrieve any email that has been sent, copy and paste

it into a new email and send it.
